How do I use this site?

If you want to watch the videos, there are just three simple steps.

1. REGISTER
   
   Click on the Registration button on the Homepage. Your registration gives you instant access to the "Members Area" where you can preview all the videos.
   
   It's quick and FREE to register and there are no obligations.
   
   
2. LOGIN
   
   After you have registered you will automatically enter the Members Area where you can watch a short film about "How to get the best out of your treatment". From here you can preview ALL of the other videos in our library.
   
   
3. VIEW
   
   Once you have chosen which films you would like to watch from the short preview clips you simply go to the Viewing Room and within minutes you'll be watching and listening to Dr. Hilary!

 

Does Dr. Hilary Jones own this site?

No. Although I have known Hilary for many years, this site is owned and run personally by me, Peter Claridge. I alone have the costs of running it, therefore your support by making a small voluntary payment would be much appreciated!

 

What is a "Voluntary Viewing Fee"?

As stated throughout the site, everything is indeed free to watch, however if you feel that the site has been informative and useful, perhaps you would be kind enough to consider paying a "voluntary viewing fee"?

Providing a website full of "video on demand" and other healthcare related information is expensive. If you would like to make a small payment it will help me keep the site running. You don't have to... the choice is yours.

 

On many of the pages you will see a form like this where you can make your payment. There are four "suggested" prices starting at a very affordable £0.99p. If you have watched many films and used other resources of the site, you might be generous enough to select one of the higher "suggested" prices.

Or you can watch every video and all the patient interviews and not pay anything at all... it's up to you.

 

 

How do I pay?

We use PayPal as our secure payment "gateway" but you do not need a PayPal account to make a purchase. You can also pay through a bank account using a direct-debit or with your credit card.

 

You can use any of the following forms of payment.

 

After you have completed the payment process you also have the opportunity to open a PayPal account if you want to. The choice is yours.

 

 

Here’s how this easier checkout works:

 

• You enter your name and address.
• You’re prompted for your Card details, Email address, and Phone number.
• After reviewing your information, you can then choose to either save the information by creating a PayPal account (thus making future internet purchases easier and faster), or finish the transaction without creating an account.

 

Our customers who already have a PayPal account will checkout quickly and easily in the traditional manner.

 

Can I pay in another currency?

As you go through the checkout process, PayPal will automatically convert the price to your local currency.

References to "DVD"

The videos on this website are based on a successful series of DVDs. In some presentations, Dr. Hilary Jones refers to either the fact that he assumes you have a copy of the DVD (which in this case you don't because you are watching it on the web), or that you can use the "Chapters Menu" to jump to a specific section of the film. You can use the buttons underneath the video in exactly the same way as the Chapters Menu on a DVD. Simply click on the chapter you want to see and you will be taken there automatically. (Tip: As you pass your cursor over the buttons a small text box will show you the names of the chapters.)

 

Can I purchase a DVD?

I'm afraid producing single DVD's is no longer financially viable which is why I decided to develop this site using "Video on Demand".

 

So I'm sorry but no, I can't offer you a DVD for sale, but I can invite you to visit the site as often as you wish and watch as many different programmes as you like for free... or if you decide to make a voluntary payment, for a fraction of the cost of a single DVD!

 

Why do I have to register?

Video On Demand costs me money every time a video is played, therefore you can only watch the full length videos once you have registered. By doing that you are helping me provide a service to people who really want or need to learn something about some of the most common chronic medical conditions, rather than "casual surfers" using up the resources.

Video problems.

Our videos are delivered to you over one of the best international commercial networks available... if you are experiencing problems with the smoothness of playback it is most probably one of the following points:

• The local connection to your computer might not be fast enough. You need at least a DSL connection.


• The internet could be very busy at the moment... please try again later.


• Your computer isn't quite up to this type of use. (However, if you can watch YouTube or other video services ours should be just as good.)

The EXAMPLES page is also there for you to see if BodyTalk runs OK on your system. If you are having problems we are sorry but there is nothing we can do from our end to help you. Maybe visit a neighbour or friend and check the site out on their system... you can watch it just as easily there!

Finally, if you jump backwards and forwards within the video, when you start playing again you might hear the sound is a little bit later than the picture. To cure it, simply "pause" the video for a couple of seconds and then click on "Play" again.
